Minnesota born and raised. I think it was Rory Gilmore who first ignited my interest in travel (maybe even writing?). Like many of us, I come alive when traveling. But it isn’t the destination that sparks a sense of joy and fulfillment — it’s the people I meet and connections I make along the way. It’s slowing down and immersing myself in the culture, whether it’s people watching at a cafe or being swept up onto the dance floor to attempt the salsa. Traveling shouldn’t be a checklist.
